Viswaroopam Review & Box Office Report

Kamal Hassan’s Viswaroopam movie will hit the screens today worldwide except Tamilnadu. Viswaroopam will be released in Hindi & Tamil languages in over 3000 theaters world wide. Viswaroopam Review :
Viswaroopam movie starts the story in the US. Kamal Hassan in doing the role of a Kathak dance master named Viswanath,  Dr. Nirupama (Pooja Kumar) is the wife of Viswanath(Kamal) in this film, but she has doubt on her husband due to Ashmita’s (Andrea Jeremiah) realtion with Viswanath(Kamal). So she appointed a secret agent to find out the truth.During his enquiry the secret agent knows that Vishwanath(Kamal) is not a hindu but he is a muslim and Vishwanath(Kamal) has contacts with the terrorists group which is headed by Omar(Rahul Bose). The Secret agent gets killed by Al-Qaeda terrorists. Al-Qaeda is planning to plant a Nuclear Bomb in New York city and Kamal Hassan is well-aware of it. Will they succeed in their mission ? Who is Vishwanath, a terrorist or an secret agent? Just watch the movie to get the answers!

First half of the movie is took place in the US and hence it shot entirely in the US. First half is much more interesting and when enters the second half the story starts dragging, but gets its pace and interest with the flash back showing the past of Viswanath(Kamal).

As the movie ends with some questions to answer, there should be a second part of Viswaroopam soon or later!!!

Good :
Kamla Hassan – Yes only he can do such expiriments, his hard work and dedication as an actor as well as director is the major plus point of the film.
Rahul Bose – As the leader of the terrorist group, he did his role exceptionally well.
Pooja Kumar – She done an excellent job with her glamour & comedy!
Music – music & back ground music is good.
Cinematography, Auro 3D sound effect, Special effects, fights, comedy scenes are exceptionaly well.

Bad :
Dubbing
In the middle part the movie its dragging too much.
Narrarion of the story isnt good.
Andrea Jermiah doesnt have a notable role.

Verdict :
Watchable, For a Kamal fan everything in it, but for a normal viewer it cant reach the expectations.

Viswaroopam Box Office Report :

Hindi version Vishwaroop improved in the evening slightly after a low start to collect nett. Rs 1.89 crore nett region on first day Vishwaroop is also Kamal’s best-ever opening in the Hindi belt after the 1981-runaway hit . The film has collected Rs 4.46 crore in two days with hindi version. Vishwaroop collected approx Rs 7.56 cr + nett in its opening weekend.

Overseas

The Tamil and Telugu versions Vishwaroopam is doing good in foreign markets.
