Malayalam cinema is currently undergoing major explosions. Literally, it can be described as a purgatory. Each of the women came forward to reveal their bad experiences against many actors and superstars. Some can be treated as mere bad experiences, while others are crimes of a serious nature. Actor Baburaj and director VA Sreekumar have now been accused of a serious crime. This is also a sexual accusation. A leading actress has come forward with the allegation. The actress says that she was sexually assaulted by Baburaj at his house in Aluva. Now the actress reveals that he was treated very cruelly and was seen as a brother.
Meanwhile, the actress has alleged that director Sreekumar molested her at a hotel in Kochi. They also reveal that other girls have fallen into Baburaj’s trap. This girl is working as a junior artiste in films. The actress says that Baburaj called her to her house in Aluva saying that she would give her a chance in the cinema and told that there were film directors and others there, but when she went there, no one was there and told her that they would come immediately and made her sit in the lower room. The junior artist says that when he opened the door after some time, he called for food, he entered, talked obscenely and sexually assaulted him. She said that she was able to return from there only the next morning and that she did not mind when he called her on the phone many times and many others called her saying that if she adjusts, she will get a good role, but when she said that she is not ready, then no one calls her.
The actress states that Sreekumar Menon treated her in a very cruel way, called her to a hotel in Ernakulam saying that she would give her a role in an advertisement film, and after reaching the room, dragged her to the bed and sexually assaulted her. They told the media that they did not file a complaint because they were no longer in the country after marriage and that they would give a confidential statement if the investigation team approached them. Meanwhile, Baburaj has denied all the allegations. Baburaj is now saying that this incident took place at his house in Aluva in 2019, but he lived in Munnar from 2015 to 2020 and that he tortured a person whom he did not meet and now he is saying that he will proceed with legal action. Sreekumar Menon has not responded on this issue yet.
