Videocon Telecommunications is planning to go up against govt. on the wake of the CBI court granting clean chit to all the accused ones in the 2G spectrum scam. Reportedly, Videocon would be filing a damage claim of INR 10,000 Cr against the govt. Speaking to the media, company spokesperson pointed out that the damage, which the 2G spectrum case incurred on the company was more than INR 10K Cr.
While the case would be filed only after finalizing the amount to be claimed, Videocon is amongst the company’s, the license of which were cancelled by the Supreme Court Judgment in 2012.
