Thiruvananthapuram: Covid positive cases has increased in the state. 53 more people have been diagnosed with Covid positive today. With this the total number of patients has reached 842. Of these, 322 are currently undergoing treatment and the remaining 520 have been cured. Today, 47 of those infected came from overseas, five of them infected through social contact.
Thiruvananthapuram 12, Kannur 12, Malappuram 5, Kasaragod 5, Alappuzha 4, Palakkad 4, Ernakulam 4, Kollam 3, Pathanamthitta 2, Kozhikode 1 are the district wise number of patients. Today 18 more places in the state have been declared hot spots. Today 5 people recovered from Covid 19, 3 people from Kollam and 2 from Pathanamthitta.
