“We met and fell in love while acting in the serial. The first serial revolved around Deepanalas. We met while doing that. He was the production controller of the serial. Friendship quickly turned into love. He was an actor, production controller and producer. Parents were not interested in our relationship. But when I insisted a lot, they gave in” – says the actress.
“We have two children. The elder son’s name is Abhinav. He is working. Daughter’s name is Adilakshmi. My daughter is studying in Plus One. We have a dance school and YouTube channel. Mural painting in free time. It is also used to make a forehead. These are things that bring a lot of joy and satisfaction to the mind. And it is another source of income for us. There is a great support of the family for everything. Life goes on beautifully because there are so many people to point out mistakes, criticize, appreciate and accept” – says Anita.
Sreekumar says that their love starts at the railway station. When Anila came to act in the serial, it was Sreekumar who picked her up at the railway station. He met Anila there for the first time. Sreekumar says that he has talked about this before but he felt a liking for the first time he saw it. He adds that this little love has been cultivated later and has reached here now. Anila’s parents were both government officials. At first there was opposition from home because he was from the film serial sector. But Anila says that she liked Sreekumar a lot. Anila says that their wish was to get her married to a doctor or an engineer.
