Actor Sreejith Ravi was arrested on Thursday by Thrissur West Police under POCSO case. The arrest was recorded over the complaint that he allegedly exhibited nudity before a minor girl.
As per the complaint, the incident took place two days ago at Ayyanthole SN Park. The complaint was given by two children aged 9 and 14 about a man who arrived in a black car and behaved inappropriately at a park in Thrissur. The Thrissur West police soon got into action and screened the CCTV visuals and reached the accused’s house. It was only then realised that the car belonged to Sreejith Ravi.
Reportedly, the actor confessed that he has been undergoing treatment for the behavioural disorder. Sreejith will be produced at the POCSO court by noon, on Thursday.
A few years back, Palakkad police booked him in a similar case. But the actor alleged that the complainants misunderstood him and the case is baseless.
