Air India has begun efforts to provide transport security passes for both domestic and international flights. According to the ANI news agency, Air India’s internal communications were quoted.
“After the lockdown, services are likely to resume from 25% to 30% by mid-May. In a letter to the operational staff, Air India has asked the cabin crew and pilots to confirm the figures. Air India has also asked the Executive Director (ED) to ensure the Crew has the necessary adjustments and curfew passes.
Earlier, the central government had asked Air India to be ready to bring in Indians from other Gulf countries. The nationwide announcement of the nationwide lockdown is on until May 3rd. The Indian Embassy has also initiated registration process for the repatriation of Indian nationals from the UAE.
