All steps were taken to capture the man-eating tiger, and the natural delay that ensued; AK Saseendran

Kochi: Forest Minister AK Saseendran said that all measures have been taken to catch the man-eating tiger in Wayanad. AK Saseendran was speaking in response to the incident where a young man was killed in a tiger attack yesterday.

The government’s stand is to save the people of the hilly areas. But at certain stages certain orders can be issued only after consideration of legal matters. Minister Saseendran said that it was a natural delay and the speed of orders would be expedited at such stages.

The body was found by the relatives after the person who went to the garden in the morning was not found in the afternoon. The body was half eaten by the tiger.

Meanwhile, the tiger that attacked and killed a young man in Wayanad Wakeri has been located and ordered to be drugged. With this, the locals ended their protest in front of the mortuary.

Prajeesh’s body will be cremated at five o’clock. The forest department said that a search for the tiger has been started in the area. It has also been informed that more cages and cameras will be installed.
