Nithin Lukose’s critically acclaimed Malayalam drama film ‘Paka (River of Blood) is set for OTT release which is scheduled for July 7 this year. The drama movie first premiered at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival in the Discovery section and was also later selected for the Red Sea International Film Festival.
The script is penned down by Nithin Lukose (Director) tells a a blood-soaking story of a couple in patriarchal rural India who decides to take out their revenge by the banks of a river that is stacked with more blood than water and is the only witness of the heinous deeds happening around it.
The film is bankrolled by Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap and Raj Rachakonda.
‘Paka’ had an ensemble cast that included the actors Basil Paulose, Vinitha Koshy, Nithin George, Athul John, Jose Kizhakkan, Abhilash Nair, Joseph Manikkal, Mariyakkutty, and Jose Ashariyott.
