Former actress Apoorva Bose got engaged to her fiancé Dhiman Talapatra on Tuesday. The news of her engagement was shared by Apoorva herself through her social media.
A Kochi native, Apoorva made her entry to Malayalam films like Malarvadi Arts Club and Pranayam. Other important films include Padma Shri Dr. Saroj Kumar, Paisa Paisa, Pakida and Hey Jude. She later stepped back from the cinema industry and received a Masters degree in International Law and joined the United Nations.
Apoorva is currently a Communications Consultant in the United Nations Environment Program. She currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland.
Apoorva had graduated from NUALS in Kochi and had done an internship with the UN in Delhi, when she decided to pursue a postgraduation in international and human rights law. She picked Geneva, as it is the hub for international organisations. She often shares pictures with her collegemate and boyfriend, Dhiman Talapatra, who graduated in development studies together with her. They provide plenty of ‘couple goals’ posts on social media, with music videos of Apoorva singing and Dhiman accompanying her on the guitar.
