Opposition Leader VD Satheesan against Higher Education Minister R Bindu in the context of the Supreme Court canceling the re-appointment of Kannur VC Gopinath Ravindran.
VD Satheesan said that R Bindu should resign today. Dr R Bindu violated the law. The Supreme Court upheld the arguments of the opposition.
In the verdict, there was unnecessary interference of the state government. This is a conspiracy by the governor and the government. VD Satheesan said that there is no dispute between the governor and the government.
Today Dr. Supreme Court quashed re-appointment of Gopinath Ravindran. Dr. The court criticized the state government saying that the re-appointment of Gopinath Ravindran was illegal.
The court also observed that there was external interference in the appointment. The judgment was given by the bench of the Chief Justice.
