Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan is a South Indian actor who mainly works in Tamil film and television industry. He made his movie debut with Mani Ratnam’s Tamil movie ‘O Kadhal Kanmani’ in 2015. Ashwin Kumar made his television debut on Star Vijay’s serial ‘Office’. He played the lead roles in serials ‘Rettai Vaal Kuruvi’ (2015) and ‘Ninaika Therintha Manamae’ (2017). He had also played the lead in ‘Raja Rani’, a remake of the hit Tamil serial ‘Saravanan Meenatchi’ on Star Maa. He rose to fame after contesting in Star Vijay TV’s popular comedy cum cookery show ‘Cook With Comali Season 2’ and becoming the second runner-up in the finale. Ashwin has played the lead role in ‘Enna Solla Pogirai’,a Tamil romantic comedy film written and directed by A. Hariharan.
