Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Brahmastra’ has turned out to be successful at the box office. The Ayan Mukerji directorial was released on September 9 and is still running in theatres.
Ayan on Tuesday took to Instagram and shared that the film has collected a worldwide box office gross of Rs 425 crore.
“#NO. 1 WORLDWIDE HINDI MOVIE OF 2022! ❤️🕉💥THANK YOU !!! HAPPY NAVAMI, EVERYONE !!!”, he wrote.
Backed by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions, the movie also stars Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna in important roles. Shah Rukh Khan has also done a cameo in the film.
The second instalment of the movie has been titled Dev and it is scheduled for a 2025 release.
