Maryakutty, a native of Adimali, protested by begging on the streets after the suspension of welfare pension, demanding that the Modi government should come back to power.
Mariyakutty said that BJP should come to power if we are able to come to power.
Maryakutty was speaking after inaugurating the Christmas evening organized by the Minority Morcha Thrissur District Committee.
Maryakutty severely criticized the state government and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Maryakutty opined that the state government has not given even the 1,000 crore given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Modi government will come back to power.
People are not given fivepence for Christmas. Rice and other goods are not available. People are starving. Maryakutty said that educated children are not getting employment in the state.
Maryakutty added that people have marked the policemen who beat the protestors. Mariyakutty said that while Pinarayi Vijayan’s police are giving ummah to goons, they are beating the heads of others.
Senior BJP leader Kummanam Rajasekharan, who attended the event, gave sweets to Maryakutty.
