Sporting various features, Canon has launched its latest DSLR, PowerShot G1 X Mark III. It has featured a 24 MP APS – C sensor, while it comes along with Dual Pixel AF system and DIGIC 7 processor. Weighing at just 400g, this 3rd model to the G1 X series, is capable of shooting continuous bursts at 9 fps with AF/AE locked on the first shot; even if you are going with continuous AF, it clocks 7 fps. In terms of recording video is concerned, the device has got a 1080/60p time lapse video capture.
With a look identical to PowerShot G5 X, Canon PowerShot G1 Mark III has dials on the front and back; coupled with it, is the built in flash, OLED viewfinder as well as the fully articulating LCD. However the battery lasts for 200 shots per charge. The device has features such as Wi-Fi with NFC and Bluetooth. Priced at $1299, it is not known when PowerShot G1 Mark III hits Indian markets.
