In a tragic accident, 11 people were seriously injured after two cars collided in Thamarassery. The accident took place on Mukkam Road near Thamarassery Chungam Junction, Kozhikode.
The accident occurred when a car coming from Mukkam towards Thamarassery collided with a car coming in the opposite direction.
Niha (10), Safna (35), Mishar (4), Sanal (23), Lubaba (15), Mujeeb Rahmar (43), Fatima Bathur (12) and Hiba Fatima (14) and Khaleel (3) were the passengers in the car which was going to Mukkam and Sil (23) and Muhasin (24), natives of Thamarassery PC Mukku, were injured in the car which was coming to Thamarassery from Omassery.
They were given initial treatment at the Thamarassery Taluk Hospital and then shifted to the Medical College Hospital. The condition of two of the injured persons is said to be serious.
