CBSE Syllabus revamped

The Central Board of Secondary Examinations (CBSE) has announced some major changes to the existing syllabus. As was announced by the apex body, the new syllabus for class 9 students, won’t include the subject of ‘Communicative English’ (Code 101). Along with the subject, the ‘Information and Communication Technology’ (Code 166), ‘e – Publishing’ (Code 354) and ‘e – Office’ (Code 454), too were dropped from the syllabus. Similarly, the 2018 – 19 batch of Class 11 students will see three subjects being dropped from their existing syllabus: ‘Dance – Mohiniyattam’ (Code 062), ‘Multimedia and Web Technology’ (Code 067) and ‘English Elective CBSE’ (Code 101).
