Indian Coast Guard Navik (Domestic Branch – Cook, Steward) has invited applications from unmarried Indian citizens. Those who are aged 18 – 22, as on 01/10/2018, are eligible for applying. Reserved candidates would receive adequate upper age relaxation. Applicants must have to complete 10th standard with a minimum of 50 percentage marks. The selection is based on written examination, physical fitness test, interview and medical checkup.
Applicants should have a minimum height of 157cm and appropriate body fitness level, as was prescribed by Coast Guard. Those who are selected, would receive a payment of INR 21,700, besides other allowances, during the initial stage. Applications are to be submitted through online mode. The mode of application, can be viewed at the official website of Indian Coast Guard, www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in. Admit card for the written examination can be downloaded between March 5 and 12. Last date to receive online applications, is February 16.
