Complete lockdown on Sundays withdrawn

The Chief Minister’s Office informed that the state has withdrawn the practice of imposing complete lockdown on Sundays. It is also informed that the withdrawal is of temporary in nature. It would continue until further notice is been issued.

The decision was taken following the assessment that Sunday’s complete lockdown would be difficult for those who are returning from overseas. However, CM’s office maintained that in the coming days, tight measures would be taken in containment zones as well as red zones. It was also informed that the curfew would continue from 9am to 5pm every day, including Sunday.
