Four students died in a stampede during a tech fest at the Kochi University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) campus in Kalamasery. Minister Veena George informed that two boys and two girls died.
The Minister also informs that 46 people have reached Kalamassery Medical College. 4 dead (2girls, 2boys) 2 in ICU (girls), 2 shifted to Astor hospital. Both girls (seriously injured, critical)- informed the minister.
15 people were admitted to the ward with minor injuries. 15 children are being treated at Kinder Hospital. One child underwent CT scan and the results are awaited..2 discharged from Kindergarten.One child in Sunrise Hospital. The minister also stated that the injury is not serious
