Actress Remya Suresh has filed a case against a fake video circulating in her name. The actress had lodged a complaint with the Alappuzha Cyber Cell. Remya Suresh’s nude video of a girl who looks very similar to the actress’ face has been circulated on social media. Remya herself came on the scene with an explanation of the incident. Remya is notable for her films Kuttan Pillai ‘s Shivaratri, I Prakashan and Nizhal.

I am Remya Suresh. Essentially a few movies are being made. The reason I am posting a video like this now is based on a video I saw about myself. Someone who knows me talks about this video this morning. He sent that photo and video to my phone. It contained two photos and videos of another child on my Facebook page.
The shocking truth is that if you see a photo of that kid, he will look just like me. My arms and legs started shaking when I saw that video. I do not know what to do or who to call. After some time, I called the police station in my hometown and inquired about the matter. He told me to go to the Alappuzha SP office and file a complaint today. He did not eat anything in the afternoon and immediately went to the SP office and lodged a complaint.
This was my fifty-sixth case like this. The case was filed immediately. The information of the group that came with the video, the group admin and the person who shared it was taken. They said the necessary steps would be taken immediately. The officials at Cyber cell told me words that give us courage and peace. But it is not known how many people watched or circulated this video. How many of us can tell this is not me? The spreaders of this video do so without even looking to see if it is true. The real person in this is how much trouble it can cause. They have no family. Why is it so frustrating to take a video that is not ours and spread it with photos because it looks like it?
In fact, I’m going to have to break down now. I stand by this because I am fully convinced that the video is not mine and believe in why. Or am I the one who gets upset over a small thing. My video of her singing before coming to the movies was shattered when she went viral. There are a lot of people who supported me and gave me courage all those years. My husband is in the Gulf. He always comforts me by calling me on the phone.
When this video came out, I started getting bad comments on my page as well. You have to understand one thing, I am not the person you mean. I never promised anyone that I would be in the movie until the end of my life. I’m not in a position to live without movies. I do not live to see it. I’m not ready to do anything for the movie. It must be understood first. People who send me messages and see me in an unwanted way should put it off. That is my humble request. Do not try to see everyone with one eye. There are a lot of people who see film as a profession and work with dignity.
