From the Face of Death to Life; Workers trapped in the tunnel for 17 days have been brought out and 18 people have been rescued

Workers trapped in Silkyara tunnel in Uttarkashi for 17 days have been brought out. So far 18 people have been rescued.

The rescued people are being shifted to the hospital. The entire workforce can be brought out within two hours. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other senior officials have reached the spot.

41 beds have been prepared at AIIMS, Rishikesh, including a trauma centre. They will be airlifted to the hospital immediately according to their health condition.

Three helicopters and 10 ambulances have been arranged for this. Psychiatrists, surgeons, cardiologists and other healthcare workers are on hand at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the National Disaster Response Force says that a historic rescue operation is underway in the tunnel in Uttarkashi.

Meanwhile, today is the 17th day since 41 workers are trapped in the tunnel. The rescue mission was delayed as the rescue mission was interrupted several times.
