Google has launched a new feature – ‘Symptom Search’, in partnership with Apollo Hospitals. Intended to deliver quality health information for users on their smartphones, the app gives valuable health suggestions to users. The process, which is done in collaboration with the expert doctors from Apollo, is currently available in two languages – Hindi and English. While launching the feature, Google officials commented that the project should be used as a means of informational purpose only. They added that users should always consult a doctor, whenever they felt about doing so.
It is been reported that health related issues constitute more than one percentage of the entire Google search.
