Having four daughters, it is unthinkable for an old woman to beg at the age of 87; Krishnakumar gave 25000 rupees to help Maryakutty and Anna

Thiruvananthapuram: Actor and BJP leader Krishnakumar provided financial assistance to Maryakutty (87) and Anna Ousep (80), natives of Adimali, who took to the streets with earthen pots to beg for alms after the welfare pension was suspended.

Both were paid Rs 25,000 each for one year. The assistance was given in the name of Krishna Kumar’s children’s charity foundation.

He has four daughters. The woman who protested also has four children. It is unthinkable for an elderly person to beg at the age of 87.

He gave what help he could. This is a small start. Krishnakumar said that they should get help.

After the welfare pension was stopped, both of them protested by begging for alms in Adimali town. But Deshabhimani had reported that Maryakutty owns 2 houses and one and a half acres of land and one of the 4 daughters is abroad.

Maryakutty proved all these allegations wrong. Later, Maryakutty informed that he will go to the High Court for giving fake news.
