A war has been going on between the country of Israel and the terrorist organization Hamas for the past year. Meanwhile, an “All Eyes on Rafa” campaign was underway. Stars from Malayalam including Shine Nigham and Dulquer Salmaan participated in this. Many stars in the film industry came out by raising this slogan on social media. Many people in the film industry came forward to express their support for Palestine. But a section of people criticize that they are pretending not to see the Hindu genocide happening in Bangladesh now.
Now ex-Muslim activist Arif Hussain is coming to the streets criticizing this. “The people who put out their eyes in Rafah are deliberately silent when similar incidents are happening in other parts. If people like Shane Nigam, Dulquer Salmaan try to file a case against me, I will fight it legally. I have a right to my opinion. I will tear down your actions and reveal the malice and double standards” – says Arif Hussain.
“Seeing all that is happening in Bangladesh, why some people in our country are still silent. Even after seeing Hindus being beaten to death, these people’s eyes do not come out. It will keep asking. Muslims should be in the place of victims because of the general nature of those who are going to plant their eyes. If the victims are Muslims, it is a problem, but if they are Hindus, it is not a problem. Extremist Muslims in Bangladesh are on a killing spree. When you see it, you don’t make a sound, and you don’t even feel like staring. If you want to raise your voice, something must happen to those in your group” – says Arif.
“Humanity is not a name for raising one’s voice only for one’s own group. It is tribalism. An introspection that occurs when something happens to those in your own group, beyond that, don’t call it anything else. There is a situation where the locals catch them with their hands when they say Sudapi from India with great pride. Why doesn’t your humanity boil when you see things in Bangladesh. Why is it not flowing to Bangladesh” – one asks.
