Nayanthara is a South Indian superstar. While waiting for the release of the movie Annapoorna at the end of 2023, Nayanthara is completing 20 years in her career. From those early days when I didn’t know what to do, how to do it, where to sit, how to look, what a camera is, to here, to where I am today, I feel proud of myself. Whether you have talent or not, whether you are good looking or not, it is important to strive for it. That is what I have done for the film. Be it in the film or in life, I will not give up one thing for anyone or anything, self respect! I get angry if I make a mistake but I treat others with great respect. Everyone will be treated well. I also want to get it back from others. In this 20-year career, I have not given up that one self-respect for anyone or anything.
The love received from people during this time is immense. Money, name and fame are easy to get, but to be able to earn people’s love is a big thing. I can’t believe the love I get. When you see that love, your respect for the film increases again and again.
