India, for the first time, has registered a daily count figure of 25k plus. During the past 24 hours, a total of 26,506 fresh cases were reported in India. This happened to be the highest daily toll number till date in India. The country has also registered 475 new deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 21,604 lives from India so far. The total number of Covid positive cases in India is all set to hit 8 lakh figure. Till date, at total of 7,93,802 cases have been reported in India.
As was informed by the Union Health Ministry, the recovery rate of the country is above 62%. The total number of active cases in India stands at 2,76,685, whereas 4,95,513 have recovered from Covid 19. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Delhi continue to lead India’s Corona chart.
