Kawasaki Versys – X 300 got an India launch at INR 4.6 lakh

Carrying a price tag of INR 4.6 lakh on it, India Kawasaki Motor has introduced a new model before the Indian audience – Kawasaki Versys – X 300. While launching the model, the company maintained that the model would be imported as CKD (completely Knocked Down) units. Further then, the units are being assembled at the company’s facility centre in Pune. Powered by a 300cc, liquid cooled, twin cylinder engine, Kawasaki Versys – X 300, carries the same specification as that of Kawasaki Ninja 300 X. That said, the former differs from the latter in terms of the fuel injection capacity. As per the claims made by company, Kawasaki Versys – X 300 delivers a power of 40PS at 11,500rpm, while at 10,000rpm, a peak torque of 25.7Nm is reached. The six speed transmission of the engine has got an assist and slipper clutch; while the heat management technology of the model, promotes air flow during when the engine performs.
