Thiruvananthapuram: Warning of high temperature today and tomorrow in Kerala. In this context yellow alert has been announced in various districts.
Kollam, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Thrissur districts will experience high temperature of 38 degrees. Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Palakkad and Kannur districts will see temperature rise up to 37 degree Celsius.
According to the Central Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Thiruvananthapuram, Malappuram, Kozhikode & Kasaragod districts is likely to rise up to 36 degrees Celsius (2-4 degrees Celsius more than normal).
Due to high temperature and humid air in the next two days, hot and humid conditions are likely in these districts except the hilly areas and caution is advised.
