KFPA imposes temporary ban on Sreenath Bhasi over verbal abuse case

Kerala Film Producers’ Association (KFPA) has imposed a temporary ban on actor Sreenath Bhasi in the wake of recent verbal abuse case. A case was registered against the Chattambi actor for verbally abusing a female anchor during an interview.

In a meeting held by the association on Tuesday, it was reportedly decided that the association would not co-operate with the actor for new projects. The decision was taken after the anchor lodged a complaint against Sreenath Bhasi before KFPA.
As per the association’s decision, Sreenath Bhasi won’t be included in new projects,

however, he will be allowed to complete the existing projects. According to reports, Sreenath Bhasi appeared before the representatives of KFPA on Tuesday and accepted his mistake.

Meanwhile, the police have also collected samples of Sreenath Bhasi’s hair, nails, and blood to find out whether he was under the influence of drugs during the controversial interview.
