After ‘Malik’, director Mahesh Narayanan is back with his new film ‘Ariyippu’, starring Kunchacko Boban and Divya Prabha in the lead. According to the latest updates, the film will be skipping theatrical release.
The film made history as the first Indian film in 17 years to compete at the Locarno Film Festival in the international competition section.
‘Ariyippu’ centres around the lives of a struggling Malayali couple who dreams of migrating out of the country for a better life. The film also explores emotional, social, and marital imbalances in their relationship.
Apart from Kunchacko Boban and Divya Prabha, ‘Ariyippu’ also features the actors Danish Husain, Loveleen Mishra, Faizal Malik, Kannan Arunasalam, Kiran Peethambaran, Sidharth Bhardwaj, and Dimpy Mishra in significant roles.
