Malayalee boy girl from Assam – Here is the love story of Ajith and Namitha winning the movie

Ajith, a native of Elathur, cycled from Kozhikode to Singapore via Assam and Meghalaya in 2019. Ajith, who traveled the world on a bicycle, was married to a girl from Assam. Namitha Sharma hails from Jagirod in Assam. The couple got married at the Narasimha temple in Thiruvananthapuram. Ajith’s life is literally reminiscent of the movie Blue Sky, Green Sea, Red Land.

It was in August 2019 that Ajith decided to cycle from Kozhikode to Singapore at Elathur Parammal Kanangode. It was during this journey that we reached Jagirod in Assam. From there he met Jiju and his wife Dadi. Ajith had a close relationship with this family. Ajith went to Assam last Vishu with a bicycle to travel to Jiju’s daughter as there was no vehicle to go to school during Kovid’s time. Jiju and Dadi asked why Ajit was not married. Ajith said that he wants to marry someone who likes to travel. Knowing this, Jiju and Dadi started thinking of Ajith as a girl. In one or two months many marriage proposals were brought. It all happened online.

Girl Namitha’s Ajith first asked her if she likes to travel. The girl replied that she wanted to travel all over the world if she had money on hand. The only condition put forward by Ajith was to go with him without saying no when he was leaving. The girl happily accepted it. The marriage was later confirmed after the intervention of both the families.

Ajith’s mother Ragini demanded that the girl be brought home before the next lockdown. His mother took a loan from Kudumbasree and handed it over to Ajith. So Ajith and his friend Sandeep boarded a flight to Assam on the 17th of August. On August 19, he returned home with Namitha.

The child has learned the essential Malayalam. Namitha learned the essential words “mother, father, let’s go, have tea”. My father-in-law and mother-in-law are busy learning Hindi now. Ajith says that now Namitha and her husband’s family are talking in sign language. “It’s not the language, it’s the love that matters,” Ajith added. Ajith is also a mechanic at the Kozhikode Gear Junction bicycle shop.
