Mammootty fan called Allah Akbar at Apsara Theatre. This is the truth

It’s been a week since the release of Turbo. Meanwhile, a video is circulating in the social media as if a Mammootty fan had shouted Allah Akbar and created a terrorist atmosphere at Magic Frames Apsara Theater in Kozhikode, where the film was screened. There was no threat from inside the Apsara theater during the screening of the movie.

Screenshots of the circulating video were checked with the help of reverse image search and it was found that it has been uploaded on some YouTube pages and online websites. These have been shared in the manner that the police are conducting an inspection at Apsara Theater in Kozakod following a bomb threat.

Media reports about this were available when a keyword search was conducted. On May 26, 2024, the news on Reporter TV’s website said that there was a fake bomb threat at the Apsara Theater in Kozhikode. According to the report, the threat message sent to the employee’s WhatsApp was confirmed to be fake and the bomb squad conducted an investigation during the break of the movie. It is said that the fake message was sent by a native of Pathanamthitta. According to the report, the message received in the WhatsApp group of the theater at around 8:30 pm on May 26 was immediately handed over to the police and the police confirmed that it was fake.
