Maruti Suzuki has achieved yet another feat, as the company has gone past the 20 million production mark. Starting off in the year 1983, Maruti Suzuki subsequently went onto produce a number of notable car models. Amongst the many models, it was Alto, which happens to be the best performing model from Maruti. A total of 3.17 million units of the model have been sold out. Alto is followed by Maruti Suzuki 800 and Wagon R – both of which respectively clocked 2.91 million and 2.13 million units.
Maruti Suzuki has got three plants functioning in India – collectively producing 1.78 million cars in FY2017.
