MG Hector BS 6 Model SUV Launched In India : Price in India

MG Motor India has also launched the sports utility vehicle Hector with Pollution Control  Bharat Stage 6 (BS6) quality diesel engine. The showroom price of BS-6 MG Hector Diesel comes with a price tag of Rs 13.88 lakh for basic model Style and Rs.17.73 lakhs for its high end model Sharp.The new version costs between Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000 compared to BS-IV models.

The showroom prices of MG Hector’s various BS-6 models are as follows (variant, BS-four model price, BS-6 model price, difference order; price in lakhs):

Style : Rs.13.48 – 13.88 40,000 Rs

Super 14.48 – 14.88 40,000

Smart 15.88 – 16.33 45,000

Sharp 17.28 – 17.73 45,000

The two-liter diesel engine from Fiat Chrysler Automobile is powered by BS-6 standards. This is the same engine that makes Jeep Compass in India and Tata Harriers in India. The revamped engine will produce 170bhp and 350Nm of torque, as per Hector’s BS4 standard. The only transmission option is the six-speed manual gearbox.

In addition, Hector is also available in the market with BS-six standard, 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine; The engine is capable of up to 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is backed by a 48-volt hybrid hybrid system. In addition to the manual gearbox, Hector also has a six-speed DCT transmission with petrol engine.

The MG Hector’s arrival of the BS-6 standard diesel engine is no exception. The entry-level variants include the projector headlamp, steel wheel, height adjustable driver’s seat, second-row seat AC vent, rear seat, sliding backrest, remote locking and audio system. Along with the EBD, ABS, reverse parking sensor, front airbag, hill hold and traction control are also available in all versions of ‘Hector’.

The top-end version of the Sharp is available with Powered Front Seat, Auto Climate Control, Panoramic Sun Roof, Powered Tailgate and iSmart Connected Car Technology.

It is expected that MG Motor India will launch a three-hectare hexagonal cell phone in the near future; This new version will also go on sale as ‘Hector Plus’. Despite the potential for change in facilities and systems, the Hector Plus will be powered by the same two-liter diesel engine.
