Mohanlal-Priyadarshan to start shooting for ‘Olavum Theeravum’

The power combo Mohanlal and Priyadarshan is reuniting for an exciting project- an anthology, which is based on author-scenarist-filmmaker MT Vasudevan’s short stories, for an OTT platform.

As per the reports, Priyadarshan will be directing Mohanlal for one of the segments in the anthology titled ‘Olavum Theeravum’, and they are planning to begin filming in the first week of July in Kozhikode.

‘Olavum Theeravum’, is a short story by MT Vasudevan Nair, was published in an anthology of stories in 1957. Mohanlal, in the upcoming segment, will be reprising the role of Bapootty, which was played by Madhu in the 1970 release.

Actors Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Sidhique, Surabhi Lakshmi, Renji Panicker, Indrans, Asif Ali, Ann Augustine, and Indrajith Sukumaran are apparently part of the star-studded anthology.
