Superstar Mohanlal’s ViswaSanthi Foundation’s new project, the ‘Vintage project’ has kick-started in Attappadi today. The project aims to provide the best of education to selected 20 students from the 6th class in the tribal villages of Attappadi for the next 15 years.
The project is also backed by EY Global Delivery Services Careers. The ‘Vintage project’ was inaugurated by Dr. ViswaSanti Foundation Director V Narayanan and EY Global Delivery Services representative Rumi Mallik.
Mohanlal took to his official Facebook page and announced the beginning of the new initiative. He wrote with a video message, “ViswaSanthi Foundation’s new initiative, the ‘Vintage’ project, has officially begun. In this endeavor, we chose 20 students from the 6th grade in tribal villages from Attappadi, to provide them with the best education, mentorship and resources, for the next 15 years in order to secure their future. We are grateful to EY Global Delivery Services Careers for their support in this project. Humbly requesting your blessings for these children.”
ViswaSanthi Foundation Directors Sajiv Soman, Adv. Smitha Nair, representatives Subramanian Ananthakrishnan, Subhash Ram, Louis Mathew, Venkatesh Kumar, Vinod VS, Vintage Chairman CK Suresh and Vintage Director Joby Balakrishnan were also present on the occasion.
Prior to this, a camp was organised by the foundation for 100 students and from them 20 students were selected for sponsorship. The ViswaSanthi Foundation will provide educational assistance for the next fifteen years to promote their skills and learning interests.
