Nasscom upskill platform got launched

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) has launched an upskill platform. The platform envisions to equipping more than two million IT employees in developing skills in eight technologies. The platform of FutureSkills was launched by PM Narendra Modi, while he was formally inaugurating the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) 2018. The platform is expected to cater the needs of four million employees, while another two million potential employees amongst students. The programme, which runs through the next three to four years, is being backed by the Central government.

The areas of interest during the programme are – Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Robotic Process Automation, Internet of Things, Big Data Analytics, 3D Printing, Cloud Computing and Social and Mobile platform.
