Mahesh Babu is not only a Telugu superstar, but also a philanthropist who is acclaimed for charity works. On Thursday, on the occasion of World Health Day, the actor, through his ‘Mahesh Babu Foundation’ organisation, 30 children underwent heart surgery and interventions.
The news was shared by Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar Ghattamaneni on her official Instagram handle with a note thanking the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, for facilitating the event. Namrata also shared a few pictures from the ‘Free Children heart surgeries camp’ that was held from April 1 to 7.
Namrata wrote, ” On the occasion of World Health Day today, 30 children underwent heart surgeries and interventions. The event was felicitated by hon’ble @governorap Sri Biswa Bhusan Harichandan garu. Thank you team @andhrahospitals for your commitment to medical excellence and quality healthcare”.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu will be next seen in Parasuram Petla’s ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ which will release on May 12.
