The High Court acquitted all the accused except one in the P Jayarajan assassination attempt case. The Court acquitted the accused except for the second accused Prashant. The High Court acquitted the first accused Kadicherry Aji, Manoj, Para Sashi (4), Manoj, Kuniyl Sanub, Jayaprakashan, Kovveri Pramod and Thaikandi Mohanan. The court observed that the prosecution failed to present strong evidence against the accused. The case is that on the 25th day of Tiruvona, P. Jayarajan entered his house and attempted to be hacked to death. The trial court had earlier convicted six people.
