Politicians are far better than government employees, doctors, lawyers, writers, intellectuals and Facebook revolutionaries; Shahina KK

Journalist KK Shahina said that political workers are better than government employees, doctors, lawyers, writers, intellectuals, media workers and Facebook revolutionaries.

The reaction of the media worker is in a note written on social media in the context of criticism related to the purchase of spectacles worth Rs 38000 by the minister. Full text of the post-

Those who think that glasses costing Rs 38000 are a big show and that it is wasteful for the government to give money to people’s representatives to buy glasses are not on any political side.

Among them are Congress members, CPIM members, League members, Aam Athimis, BJP and ‘I don’t have politics, but…’ frontmen. Among them there are writers, there are poets, there are government employees (they seem to be most of them?? ) and there are journalists.

They share certain ideas and mindsets in common.
Following are the ideas they share in common.
1. Politicians are total corrupt.
2. Politicians do no work and live comfortably at the expense of others.
3. It is absolutely unnecessary for people’s representatives to travel at high speed in expensive vehicles. They just need to travel by bus or train ‘like us’. They don’t need to travel at such speed because they don’t have any particular job.
4. Why are people’s representatives paid? Aren’t they public servants?
5. Chief Minister or Ministers travel in helicopters only for armada.
6. To solve the economic crisis of Kerala, it is enough to reduce the expenditure of ministers / people’s representatives. That will solve all the problems. (If you ask these economists a simple question, how much is Kerala’s fiscal deficit, they will ask what is it?)
7. Next is the most important point. Kerala is drowning in debt. I have asked at least ten people who have told me this. How much is Kerala’s debt? Where does Kerala stand in terms of borrowing? How is the borrowing capacity of a state determined?
Where… not even a single question is answered. But I will stick to what I said earlier. Kerala is drowning in debt.
8. The reason for all the economic crisis of Kerala is because of government corruption
Does the central government have any responsibility? How much is the central allocation for Kerala? How much tax do we pay there? How much do we get back? If you ask questions like how the central government is responsible for the financial crisis of the state, there will be a single template for the answer.

What is the point of blaming the center like this? Whoever is responsible for the problem, the important thing is to solve it..’
By the time this happens, those who see the rice paddy of patience will stop the discussion and leave the place.

This work has been done for thirty six years. In the light of having seen political activists of all parties up close, don’t feel bad about saying one thing.

Political workers are much better than these government employees, doctors, lawyers, writers, intellectuals, media workers and fake revolutionaries.
