In this year’s grand celebration of Dussehra, Baahubali actor Prabhas will be burning the Ravan’s effigy at Lav Kush Ramlila in Delhi. Prabhas will be gracing the event on Vijayadashami which falls on October 5 this year.
This year the effigies at the pandal are going to be 100 ft tall. Earlier, actors like Ajay Devgn and John Abraham have been a part of the Lav Kush Ramlila committee`s grand celebrations.
Prabhas will be seen playing Ram in Om Raut’s Adipurush. The pan-India movie is touted to be a gamechanger for Indian cinema. The film is an adaptation of the Ramayana and celebrates the “victory of good over evil”. Prabhas will be seen opposite Kriti Sanon in the film.
The Dussehra festivities will begin from September 26. This year the committee is set to make a pandal themed on Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir on the Red Fort lawns.
