Ramayana post controversy! The party sought an explanation from Thrissur MLA. CPI’s show cause notice to P Balachandran

P Balachandran MLA’s post related to Ramayana was controversial in a big way. Now the CPI has come into the scene with action on this post. The district secretary of the party has given a letter to the MLA asking him to go directly to the district executive and give an explanation on the matter. The district executive meeting has been called on January 31 to discuss the matter. The CPM-CPI leaders have leveled severe criticism against P Balachandran for making the existing favorable situation unfavorable. Last day, the MLA shared a controversial note on social media.

It was Balachandran’s post that starts with Sita, Rama and Lakshmana served meat and porotta. After this, there was widespread criticism against Balachandran, including on social media, stating that he had hurt the sentiments of Hindu believers. Many people also reacted strongly against the MLA. After the incident became controversial, P Balachandran withdrew the post. Then the MLA also expressed his regret through Facebook. But the debate over the controversial post did not end there. The left centers are in the assessment that Balachandran’s action is a setback for the entire front.

At the same time, the post said, ‘Raman was a sadhu, he was not a whipping boy because he had a nail in his foot. One day Lakshmana brought meat and porotta.’ MLA’s post says. ‘Chettatti Sita served the three, then a deer cub came by. Sita said. Rametta should curry it. Raman ran after the deer. Maan was an odian named Mariappan. The deer turned Ram around and lost his way. Lakshmana is sitting licking his hand after eating meat. Sita said, don’t sit and look at the bastard, go and look at Rametan. The post said, ‘Bring him who has not turned a blind eye’.
