Veteran Congress leader Oommen Chandy has landed back in Kerala following treatment in Germany. He arrived in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday at 3 am by Qatar Airways. The doctors have advised to continue expert treatment following the laser surgery carried out in Germany.
On landing in the capital city, Oommen Chandy was taken to his ‘Puthuppally House’. CPM state secretary MV Govindan visited Oommen Chandy at his residence.
He underwent a laser surgery at Charity Hospital in Berlin, Germany. His children Chandy Oommen, Maria Oommen and MP Benny Behanan also accompanied him.
