Actor-producer Vijay Babu, who was supposed to arrive in Kerala on Monday, cancelled his ticket from Dubai. His advocate informed the court that he will reach Kochi on Wednesday morning.
The court had demanded proof that he will return to India to hear his anticipatory bail plea. And for that reason Babu had submitted the ticket for Monday in Emirates flight.
However, police told the court that they were not informed if Vijay Babu would surrender.
The investigating team has started the process to issue a red corner notice and arrest him at the airport.
So far, the court is yet to hear the anticipatory bail. According to the police, Vijay Babu is trying to escape the arrest.
