Akhil Marar and Shobha Viswanath were active contestants in Bigg Boss 5th season. Half way through the Bigg Boss episodes, people realized that one of the two will hit the cup. Later, Akil Marar went up there. But Shobha's behavior was as if she was almost certain that she would be the one to hit the cup. Many times before and after the show, the audience said that they often had an expression on their faces that Akhil had stolen something from him. Now Shobha has filed a case against Akhil Marar. Akhil himself disclosed this matter through social media. Akhil's note reads:
“I am posting this because of the police notice I received. Complainant Shobha Vishwanath.
Despite my repeated inquiries to the investigating officers, they could not tell me what crime I had committed. If a woman files a case, a case should be filed under Section 153 CrPC, so we have filed a case, police said.
Another case was filed in the commissioner's office through child welfare saying that a case of pox should be filed against me. He said that I will beat the children. I am their friend's father who till date beat his children and never even shouted at them.
Dhanya Raman had earlier accused Shobha of very serious charity fraud. That too with Shobha's name and photo. They have not been able to utter a single word against it. The reason is that Dhanya Raman has evidence in his hand. Therefore, there are many people among us who live in charity fraud in the name of children and business in the name of the poor. I believe Shobha will not do that. But you have to ask why Dhanya didn't respond when Raman said it.
Many of you have heard everything I have said publicly. I don't know that any of the contestants in Season 5 had any difficulty in one way or another. But it was said that there is a suspicion that someone entered there by paying a bribe, i.e. half of what they get.
Three girls have publicly come forward in support of what I said. Other contestants and some like Sreelakshmi Arakal said I was right.
I sent Shobha what a mother had told me about her children's experience and the problem another contestant's friend had. Asked whether you can intervene in the matter. Without reacting a single word against it, they are carrying a grudge against me, not realizing the fact that I was pushed in the fourth place because of their animosity and anger for not getting the cup.
Not only this, but they will do more against me tomorrow. Just posting this so you know.
Because of such acts of people like these people are suspicious of even the women who deserve justice tomorrow. Men and women are equal, but whatever the woman says, we will file a case”.
