Tamil superstar Suriya has time and again proved his generosity whenever in need. The ‘Varanam Aayiram’ actor often does welfare work for the betterment of society. Now, the actor has proved his humbleness again when he took an intelligent decision which will benefit the people.
Suriya is currently shooting for an untitled project with director Bala. The production erected a huge village set in Kanyakumari. After the shooting, Suriya decided to donate the houses built in that set to poor fishermen for free. This kind gesture has melted the hearts of several people. Huge costs were incurred to build the set. However, the actor’s decision not to demolish received a huge applause from the audience.
Apart from being a superstar, Suriya ensures that he comes to the help of the needy. He also runs an organisation named Arangam foundation. According to reports, more than 3,000 students have benefitted from higher education with the help of the Arangam foundation.
Director Bala has reunited with Suriya after a gap of 18 long years. GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in as the composer, and it’s going to be a back-to-back film for the composer with Suriya.
