Tamil Nadu government shifted Robin bus passengers to Kerala; The cost from Palakkad should be borne by the bus owner

Pathanamthitta: The Tamil Nadu government has transferred the passengers of the Robin bus, which was taken into custody by the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicle Department for violating the permit, to Kerala. The decision was taken after discussions held by Gandhipuram RTO with the bus owner and passengers.

The passengers had said that they would not get off the bus without arranging another travel facility. With this, Gandhipuram RTO held a discussion with the bus owner and passengers.

As per the discussion, the Tamil Nadu government will transport passengers up to Palakkad. The onward journey will be at the expense of the bus owner.

Meanwhile, Robin Bus was caught by Tamilnadu RTO today. But Robin’s owner alleges that the Tamil Nadu vehicle was seized as per the instructions of the Kerala government.

The bus owner said that the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicle Department has informed that the bus will be released only after paying the penalty for violation of the permit after consultation with the Kerala government.

Robin Girish, the owner of the bus, said that the reason for taking the bus into custody was due to the pressure of Kerala and that he will continue with the service no matter what the crisis may be.
