Tamil Nadu RTO seizes Robin Bus; Passengers will not get off the bus

Pathanamthitta: The Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicle Department has taken the controversial Robin bus into custody. The bus was taken into custody by the Tamilnadu Gandhipuram Central RTO. The passengers and the bus are now at the Tamil Nadu RTO compound.

At the same time, the owner and the passengers continue to get off the bus. Their position is that they will not leave without introducing a replacement system.

Tamil Nadu RTO stopped the bus that crossed the Walayar border today. The bus crossed the Walayar border around 11.45 am and was stopped by RTO officials at Chavadi.

After checking the original documents, the officials instructed to bring the bus to Gandhipuram RT office. But bus owner Robin Girish alleges that Tamil Nadu RTO seized the bus on the instructions of Kerala officials.

Meanwhile, the Robin service was resumed yesterday morning after obtaining the order of the High Court.
Yesterday in Kerala and Tamil Nadu a fine of more than one lakh rupees was imposed.

The motor vehicle department imposed a fine of Rs 37,500 for stopping the bus at four places in the state yesterday. He was fined and released because the High Court ordered that he should not be arrested. In Tamil Nadu, the fine was more than 70000 rupees.
