The amount collected six and a half years ago to provide an educational scholarship in Abhimanyu’s memory has disappeared. A section of cultural workers has asked the CPM to investigate the fund embezzlement. A complaint was filed with the Thiruvananthapuram district committee.

The complainants point out that the account was not opened in the name of Abhimanyu Endowment and even the family members were not informed about it. After the complaint protested, the officials gave the documents of opening an account in Kerala Bank in 2022 and depositing three and a half lakh rupees in the name of the street.
